Built for the desk in the middle
The seller has a price. The buyer has a requirement. Your value is bringing the two together and getting the trade done. The software should strengthen that position through every negotiation, handoff and settlement.

The follow-through stays with your desk.
Give the agent your instructions by text. It coordinates each side separately and brings decisions back to your desk. Follow an illustrative buy-and-resell trade; a commission brokerage can use a different fee structure.
Capture the seller’s offer and the buyer’s requirement in separate conversations. Link them inside your desk without automatically introducing the parties or exposing their terms.

Moreton Desk is designed for two ways of working: Moreton coordinating the trade as the intermediary, or independent brokers and merchants using the software to run their own desk. In both, the intermediary controls the relationships, commercial terms and information shared.
The foundation brings together Moreton’s SwineDesk and freight workflows. Livestock is the starting point, with grains and softs scoped around their own specifications, documentation and delivery requirements.
Bring the specifics of your operation. We’ll show you the fit, the boundaries and what it takes to get started.
The intended access model keeps buy-side and sell-side commercial terms separate. The buyer receives their quote and agreement; the seller receives theirs. Your internal prices, spread and margin belong in the authorized desk view. Participant permissions and document routing are confirmed as part of implementation.
The deal structure must reflect how you actually trade. A merchant buying and reselling needs separate purchase and sale terms, payables and receivables. A commission broker needs the agreed fee and appropriate brokerage records. We scope the workflow to your business model and disclosure requirements.
Brokers, merchants and physical trading desks coordinating both sides of a transaction. Producers and buyers can work through Moreton as the intermediary, while independent intermediaries can use the desk for their own relationships.
The messaging workflow is designed around WhatsApp and SMS, so participants can communicate through familiar channels. Your internal team can use the web desk for the broader view. Identity checks and signature or payment steps may require additional verification.
Your existing relationships are the starting point. Buyer and seller conversations remain separate. You control introductions, contact sharing and which documents and instructions go to each participant.
Commercial commitments and money movements require your approval. The agent coordinates the information and follow-up within the scope you authorize; you retain control of prices, contracts, counterparty limits and payment instructions.
Livestock is the starting point. Grains and softs are part of the broader workflow. We confirm commodity, geography, messaging coverage, documentation and partner availability when scoping your rollout.
Market context brings together available futures references, USDA cash reports and local basis information. Review the source, date and price basis alongside a reference. A reference price is context for negotiation, not an executable quote or a guaranteed sale price.
These are partner-dependent services, scoped separately where available. Eligibility, provider, fees, coverage and funding terms must be confirmed before use. Moreton Desk does not promise credit approval, same-day funding or insurance coverage.
English and Spanish messaging are part of the workflow described here. We’ll confirm the channels and language requirements for each participant during onboarding.
Start with one real workflow: your commodity, participants and recurring friction. We’ll walk through it, identify the required integrations and services, and provide a written scope and quote before you decide to proceed.
Show us how you source, price and manage both sides of a trade. We’ll walk through the private desk, the participant views and a practical starting scope for your business.
